ADVOCACY PROGRAMME

Given the weak position the classical arts in Irish state Arts Policy and in terms of state investment in the art forms (particularly in the case of Irish opera and classical dance), CAI has a twin-track programme of:

(a) direct policy advocacy and submission to policy making bodies.
(b) a wider advocacy programme to raise awareness of the investment and support needs of these art forms amongst the general public, and encourage public support of and advocacy for investment in the classical arts in Ireland.

CAI will from time to time publish policy advocacy articles and papers, and links to relevant articles published by others which will be available on its website.
